The Mission Narrative
After detecting interference in your implant, you'll have to locate the source of the energy pulse. The signal will lead you straight to a small wooden base where the colony has set up its outpost.

Step by Step: Disconnecting the Colony
The quest is easy level, but it requires precision so you don't get surrounded by the colony's reinforcements.
Phase 1: The Security Perimeter
Around the device you'll find resistance. You won't be able to destroy the torch if the guards keep you under fire:
- Colony Sentinels: There are usually enemies and turrets protecting the signal.
- The Challenge: Clear the area first. If you try to hit the torch while enemies are attacking you, your low starting armor durability won't hold up in combat.
Phase 2: Break the Link!
Once the guard has been eliminated, you're standing in front of the furniture. Remember that this is the critical point of the quest:
- Mechanics: The quest will only count when the object is completely destroyed. Turning off the torch won't do anything.
- Action: Take out your club or stone hatchet and hit the torch until it turns to rubble. The moment it disappears, the transmission will be cut off for good.
The Effect: Territory Secured
