How to tame a Deinotherium step by step<\/h2>\n

  1. Reach level 85 or higher: you cannot tame it before that.<\/li>\n
  2. Put Beer Jars in the last slot of your hotbar and approach slowly.<\/li>\n
  3. Watch its gestures. If it curls its trunk or pins its ears back, give it nothing: back away until it stops looking at you and try again.<\/li>\n
  4. Wait for the three good gestures: head shaking, ear flapping and trunk swinging. After about 8 or 9 gestures it turns hostile anyway.<\/li>\n
  5. With all three gestures and no bad signs, stand beneath its trunk: it will take the beer from your inventory.<\/li>\n
  6. Move away right away, as it may turn aggressive for a moment. Wait about 30 seconds and repeat until done.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    It arrived in ASA with update 63.7 (March 2025), coming from the ARK Additions mod, and it spawns on The Island, Scorched Earth, The Center, Extinction and Astraeos. It roams grasslands, riverbanks and some beaches. It is the largest land mammal in the game, so you can spot it from far away.<\/p>\n
